Farm to Table entered Early Access on May 9, 2026, with the developer (indieGiant) explicitly framing it as a first step toward a full release and committing to ongoing updates shaped by player feedback. Since launch, the team has been consistently active, shipping multiple feature patches and bug fixes throughout May and June 2026. On May 11, 2026, the developer officially announced that co-op multiplayer — one of the most requested features — is coming during Early Access. This remains unshipped as of today. On September 25, 2026, indieGiant posted that a major update is now live on the Beta Branch ahead of its public release. This update is substantial, introducing a new Rancher staff member to handle animal care, significantly expanded buildable land, full Xbox and DualSense controller support, Steam Deck improvements, staff customization with daily bonuses, a redesigned management screen, improved painting tools, and numerous quality-of-life fixes. The developer is explicitly seeking player testing feedback before rolling this out to everyone. The developer has also communicated plans for additional features including special events, customer reactions, and more recipes and content. The studio — a two-person team — has remained engaged and communicative throughout, with the most recent post on September 25, 2026.
