Evaluation

FATE is the original 2003 dungeon crawler, re-released on Steam on December 12, 2013. The Steam release included new trading cards, badges, emoticons, and profile backgrounds, but no post-launch content updates or expansions were ever added to this specific title. The developer's news activity for this game has been entirely promotional — sales, discounts, and announcements about related products — with no patches, new content, or development communications directed at the original FATE itself. The most notable recent activity was the announcement and March 12, 2025 release of FATE: Reawakened, a separate product on Steam that bundles remasters of all four classic FATE games. This is a distinct title and does not represent new content added to the original FATE Steam listing. The developer's communications on this page were simply cross-promotion for that new release. The original FATE launched on Steam as a complete, finished classic game and has received no post-launch content additions. It is a fully complete product with no outstanding commitments or plans for additional content.

Evidence

Store description frames FATE as a classic re-release with Steam-exclusive extras (trading cards, badges, emoticons, backgrounds). No mention of planned updates or future content.
