Find Matt's Cats launched on March 16, 2026. The developer has been consistently active since launch, shipping patches and updates throughout April 2026, and on October 5, 2026 released a major update (Version 2) adding 14 new levels across 2 new worlds, a new "Simple" difficulty mode, new achievements, new artwork, and additional dialogue. This directly delivered on several of the content plans the developer outlined in their April 6, 2026 roadmap post — including the "more levels" and "fourth difficulty option" ideas floated there. However, in the same October 5, 2026 post, the developer announced that a Mac version of the game is coming "very soon, hopefully within 1 week." This is a concrete, unshipped commitment made just one day before today's date, confirming that the game is not yet content-complete.
