Fire & Steel launched on December 14, 2021 as the self-described "first chapter" of an arcade aerial shooter. Following launch, Kreatin Studios was active through 2022, shipping three major content updates: Survival Mode (June 13, 2022), a new campaign level called "An Old Nightmare" (July 25, 2022), and an extra bonus level called "No Nukes" (August 29, 2022). After that final major content drop on August 29, 2022, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no patches, announcements, or updates through today's date of June 22, 2026. That's nearly four years of silence. The store description refers to the game as "the first chapter," which could imply a sequel or continuation, but no such follow-up has ever been announced or shown. With no unreleased DLC on the store, no roadmap, no developer statements promising future content, and an update history that clearly tapered off and stopped entirely in mid-2022, the game appears to have reached its completed state. The last content released was the "No Nukes" extra level on August 29, 2022.
