Evaluation

Fireboy & Watergirl 1: The Forest Temple launched on Steam on September 1, 2026 — effectively one day ago. It is a port of the classic browser-based puzzle-platformer, described in the store listing as the "first chapter" of the series. No post-launch content updates, DLC, roadmaps, or developer communications of any kind have been posted yet. Because the game only just launched, there is no information available to determine whether the developer plans future updates or additional content. This may be a complete, self-contained port of the original game, or the developer may have plans for patches, DLC, or ports of subsequent entries — but nothing has been communicated either way.

Evidence

Store description presents the game as a port of the first entry in the classic puzzle-platformer series, with no mention of post-launch content or future plans.

Short description references it as 'the first game in the series,' which could signal intent to release subsequent entries but makes no explicit commitment.
