FLARE NUINUI QUEST launched on October 23, 2024 as a complete retro action platformer featuring three full campaigns (Flare, Pekora, and Marine). Shortly after launch, the developer shipped a feature patch on October 30, 2024 with gameplay improvements and balance changes based on player feedback. The most significant post-launch addition came on April 15, 2025, when the developer released the Arcade Mode Update — a free content update adding two new challenge modes: Fantasy Rush (a boss rush against Hololive Fantasy members) and Endless Encore (a giant multi-character boss rush with a scoring system). A small bug-fix patch followed the next day on April 16, 2025, addressing player-reported issues with the new mode. Since April 16, 2025, there have been no further developer communications or updates. The developer has not announced any additional content, DLC, roadmap, or plans for future updates. The Arcade Mode update appears to represent the final content addition to the game, rounding out what was already a content-complete package at launch. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and no future content has been teased or promised.
