Fleximan launched on February 28, 2024 as a short, self-contained novelty game — the developer noted it was built in about 55 hours and completable in under 30 minutes. On March 14, 2024, the developer posted an update titled "Last update!" explicitly stating "Fleximan's Adventure Ends" and mentioning they were moving on to a new project. That announcement effectively closed the book on planned content. However, the developer did return to the game. On January 24, 2026, they teased a new hero, and on April 29, 2026, they delivered on that promise with "VOLTman" — a free major update adding new maps, new audio, and new gameplay content. A bug fix for the VOLTman update followed on May 9, 2026. With the VOLTman update now shipped and no further content announced, the game appears to be complete. The developer has not signaled any additional updates are in the pipeline, and the January 2026 announcement was clearly fulfilled by the April 2026 release. The store description mentions future updates with "new memes and fun challenges," but this predates both the "Last update!" post and the VOLTman release — the VOLTman update was almost certainly what satisfied that promise. The single released DLC listing (VOLTman, released April 29, 2026) is the only DLC on the store and has shipped.
