Floppy Heroes

Floppy Heroes launched on September 13, 2016 as a ragdoll physics brawler. The developer actively supported it for several months post-launch with feature patches and updates. Then, on February 18, 2017, the developer formally announced that development attention was shifting to a sequel — Floppy Heroes 2 — explicitly stating the original game's codebase had limitations that made further expansion impractical. From that point forward, all developer communications were about the sequel, not the original game. Floppy Heroes 2 launched into Early Access on March 10, 2020 as a separate product on Steam. There have been no news posts indicating any further updates or content additions planned for the original Floppy Heroes since the sequel announcement. The original game shipped as a complete, finished product with its full set of weapons, armor, game modes, and local multiplayer — and the developer's own words confirm they consider it a concluded chapter of their work.
