Football Manager 2020 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — no purchase options exist for the game. This is standard practice for Sports Interactive's annualized Football Manager series: each year's edition is eventually removed from sale when the next installment launches. Football Manager 2021 was announced on September 24, 2020 for a November 24, 2020 release, effectively signaling that FM2020 was the outgoing edition. The game received its last known developer update in September 2020 (Update 20.4.2 on September 17, 2020, and the FM2021 announcement on September 24, 2020). The sole released DLC (the In-Game Editor) shipped on launch day, November 19, 2019, and there are no unreleased DLC entries. The game's content cycle followed the typical FM pattern: database and transfer updates through the season, followed by the successor game's announcement. Because the game can no longer be purchased, it is delisted.
