Football Pitch Simulator entered Early Access on October 10, 2025 and has been actively developed since. The developer (Incipient Day) shipped five numbered content updates and several hotfixes between October 2025 and February 2026, adding substantial new systems including co-op multiplayer, a parking lot business, an overhauled economy, extensive customization options, a banking/loan system, and more. A macOS version launched on February 14, 2026. The most significant recent signal is a developer post from July 20, 2026 — just three days before today — breaking what they described as a "long silence." In that post, the developer confirmed the game is making its final preparations for a full (1.0) release, with new business mechanics, more customization, more achievements, and substantial new content still to come. This makes clear the game has not yet left Early Access and that a meaningful content drop is expected alongside the full release. The game remains in Early Access with an active developer who has just confirmed that more content is on the way before the 1.0 launch.
