Fritz Chess 14 launched on September 22, 2014 as a complete, standalone chess software package. Over the following two years, ChessBase and publisher Viva Media released a series of add-on DLC packs: the Deep Fritz 14 multicore engine upgrade (September 22, 2014), the Bobby Fischer Master Class Vol. 1 training video (July 12, 2016), and three Chessbase PowerPlay Tutorial volumes by Daniel King (August 25, 2016). All five listed DLC items have been released. The last developer communication of any kind was a bug report acknowledgment on January 26, 2017 — a routine support post with no mention of upcoming content. No announcements of future DLC, roadmaps, or developer statements about ongoing development have appeared at any point.
