Frog Jump launched on June 26, 2025 as a multiplayer platformer. In the months following launch, the developer shipped a steady stream of updates: a v1.1 feature update on July 3, 2025 adding difficulty settings and leaderboards, a hotfix on July 4, 2025, an optimization update on July 29, 2025, and a new map on November 10, 2025. A final bug fix addressing collision and lobby issues was posted on December 10, 2025. Since December 10, 2025, there have been no further developer communications. The game has only one major content release post-launch (the new map in November 2025), which is insufficient to establish a recurring content cadence.
