Evaluation
From Beyond Prologue is a self-contained point-and-click adventure horror game that launched on December 7, 2018. The developer treated it as a finished product from release, using post-launch patches solely to fix bugs and make minor quality-of-life improvements — things like correcting dialogue triggers, fixing journal saving, and addressing Mac launcher issues.
The developer's news posts from 2019 reference a follow-up game called "From Beyond: The Dinner Party," which was in active development at that time, with a target of Q1 2020. However, this is a separate game, not additional content for the Prologue. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no season pass, no roadmap for additional content within this game, and no developer statement suggesting more content would be added to From Beyond Prologue itself.
The last developer communication of any kind was on November 27, 2019. Since then, no further posts have appeared. Given that the game was always positioned as a standalone prologue — a complete, self-contained experience — the absence of further updates is consistent with the game simply being finished. The developer's attention moved on to the sequel project.
Evidence
Final developer communication: small bug fix patch for Prologue, mention of The Dinner Party coming along nicely. No further posts have appeared after this date.
Developer confirms From Beyond: The Dinner Party development is ongoing with launch pushed to Q1 2020, while Prologue receives only a small bug fix patch.
