Fuck You Witch launched on March 29, 2024 as a complete, self-contained adventure game. Shortly after launch, on April 23, 2024, the developer posted a candid update explaining that despite strong positive reviews, low sales and high refund rates (around 30%) were forcing them to pause development. They stated they would "definitely return to development if the situation changes," but framed it as stepping away.
A July 26, 2025 post then casually mentioned the possibility of a "Fuck You Witch 2" — but explicitly noted "no promises," and the post was primarily about promoting a different game (RESTORER) via a key giveaway. A February 2026 post promoted yet another new game (Conductor: Eternal Service), confirming the studio has moved on to other projects entirely.
There is only one DLC listed — the soundtrack, which was released on launch day. No additional content, patches, or updates have been announced or shipped after the April 2024 feature patch. The studio's own words and subsequent activity make clear that development on this game concluded shortly after launch. If your Mom is home and there is no way to yell obscenities at the witch, then you can disable this function.
But make sure to wear headphones, because the main character will swear at your behalf, and the chance of getting a bollocking from your parents is very high.
