Fuga: Melodies of Steel launched on July 28, 2021 and has remained in active support ever since. CyberConnect2 has maintained a consistent cadence of supplemental DLC — costume packs in 2022, OST and archive content in 2024, and an ongoing manga serialization that has been releasing new volumes in regular monthly installments through 2025 and into 2026. The most recent release is Manga Vol. 13 on September 30, 2026 — just two days before today — making this an extremely recent content drop. Prior to that, Manga Vol. 12 (May 8, 2026) and two story-focused DLC packs — "Part One: Hax Arc" and "Part Two: Jihl Arc" — also shipped on May 8, 2026. A stability patch (v1.72) was issued on November 13, 2025, showing ongoing maintenance as well.
The DLC releases are cross-series, meaning the same manga volumes and content packs are available for all three Fuga games simultaneously. The developer's news post from February 26, 2026 announced additional language support coming to Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 in Fall 2026, indicating the series ecosystem remains active and in active development. The previous content warning about a July 2026 anniversary content announcement has now been superseded by the September 30, 2026 Manga Vol. 13 release, which confirms CyberConnect2 is still actively shipping content for this game's DLC catalog.
