Evaluation

Full Void launched on July 18, 2023 as a deliberately compact, self-contained cinematic puzzle-platformer. The developer described it at launch as "the final result" of two years of work, framing it as a complete experience designed to be played in a single sitting. Following launch, the developer released a localization update in August 2023 (adding French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Turkish) and later released a standalone soundtrack DLC on December 2, 2023. These are the only post-launch additions, and neither represents new game content. By April 2024, OutOfTheBit publicly announced their next game, Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon, explicitly positioning it as the studio's project "after Full Void." Since then, all developer communications — including five dev diary episodes released through January 2025 — have been entirely focused on Nanuka's development. There have been no announcements of additional content, DLC, updates, or expansions for Full Void. The studio's pivot to Nanuka, combined with the original framing of Full Void as a short, complete experience, and the absence of any post-launch content roadmap or announcements, all point clearly to Full Void being a finished product. The soundtrack release on December 2, 2023 marks the last addition associated with the game.
