Galactic Mining Corp launched on May 18, 2021 as a fully finished product — the developer (Anthony, Windybeard) explicitly described it as the complete realization of the "full Galactic Mining Corp vision" in the March 31, 2021 release date announcement. After launch, the developer shipped a series of patches through July 2021, adding quality-of-life features, balance changes, new monsters, and bug fixes (Patches #1–#5). The last post directed at Galactic Mining Corp itself was the Patch #5 update on July 19, 2021. Following that, the developer's communications shifted entirely to promoting a new game — Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde — under a new studio (Creature Cauldron), announced in May 2022. There have been no further updates, DLC announcements, or roadmap posts for Galactic Mining Corp since July 2021. The only DLC ever listed is the game's soundtrack, which was released the day after launch. The game launched as a complete package, received post-launch polish patches, and then development concluded as the developer moved on to other projects. No further content has been announced or hinted at.

Hire more than 70 crew members with unique stats from around the galaxy to pilot your drills and power up you base.
In Galactic Mining Corp everything is of value, from every bit of mud you drill to the strange space banana you hire to work in the HQ store rooms.
Collect hundreds of weird and wonderful items all used to research new facilities. Locate and upgrade new drills with amazing perks, increase your powers with the extensive perk tree (the Coretrium), discover giant frozen planets, acid filled metallic moons, scorching sandy comets, dark stars and much much more!
But watch out, there are a whole host of weird, dangerous, crazy and unexpected things lurking in the depths of the undiscovered planets.
