Evaluation
Galaxy Burger launched on August 23, 2024, and Galactic Workshop has maintained a consistent major content update cadence ever since. Major updates have arrived approximately every 2–4 months: the Robotics update (version 1.2, November 10, 2024), the My Kitchen update (version 1.3, July 12, 2025), the ingredient cloning and macOS support update (version 1.3.15, September 6, 2025), plus an additional security hotfix on October 3, 2025 and a feature patch introducing Zen Shift mode on November 15, 2025. Across this period, the developer shipped new game modes, dish types (sub sandwiches), a new star system (Tabby) with new ingredients, kitchen customization tools, delivery robots, a coupon system, ingredient cloning, and full macOS support.
In the July 12, 2025 update post, the developer explicitly stated: "We will continue to support Galaxy Burger and release small updates with bug fixes for it." The January 31, 2025 post also closed with "More exciting updates coming soon." While Galactic Workshop is also working on new titles (Fantasy Burger, targeting Fall 2026, and Decor Quest), they have made clear that Galaxy Burger support is ongoing alongside those projects.
The most recent developer communication is November 15, 2025. With a historical major-update cadence of roughly every 2–4 months and the last major content drop on September 6, 2025, September 2026 falls well outside the established cadence window — approximately 12 months since the last major update. However, the developer has never stated that content development on Galaxy Burger is complete. The July 2025 and January 2025 statements both affirm continued support, and no post-dating statement has walked that back. The game continues to be actively maintained, and the developer has not indicated an end to content additions. The pattern of sustained major updates since launch, combined with explicit developer commitment to ongoing support, supports continued active development.
Evidence
Feature patch 1.3.5 introduces the new Zen Shift game mode along with balance changes and bug fixes.
Major update 1.3.15 ships ingredient cloning mechanic and full macOS support with cross-play; developer mentions features still on the radar (multi-ingredient grabbing).
