Gamer Shop Simulator launched its full 1.0 release on November 6, 2021, having previously been in Early Access. After launch, the developer (a solo developer operating as DiamosDev) maintained a fairly active update cadence through 2022, shipping multiple feature patches roughly every 1–3 months — in January, March, June, August, September, and November 2022 — adding new gameplay systems, items, UI improvements, and customization options. In March 2023, another feature patch arrived. In November 2023, a further update added the Pricing Manager app, new animations, a sleeping system, and Steam trading cards. That November 2023 post also noted the developer had returned after a roughly six-month gap and expressed intent to continue updating. However, that post on November 21, 2023 is the last recorded developer communication. No updates, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since then. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap pointing to upcoming additions. The update cadence, which had previously been sustained across 2022, has now been silent since November 21, 2023 — over 2.5 years as of today. Given the absence of any outstanding commitments and the extended silence well beyond the historical update pattern, the game appears to have reached the end of its post-launch update cycle as of that final patch.
