Evaluation

Gamestonk Simulator: Gone Rogue launched into full 1.0 release on May 21, 2026, following roughly seven months in Early Access (October 20, 2025 through May 21, 2026). The 1.0 launch was itself a substantial release, adding multiplayer, new localizations, character customization, reworked progression, and NPC voice acting. Since the 1.0 launch, the developer has continued shipping notable content. On September 25, 2026 — just six days before today's date — the team released version 1.0.305, introducing an entirely new "Riot Mode": a distinct game mode featuring 28-day survival gameplay, thief-specific mechanics, a new modifier system, new achievements, and new skins. This is a meaningful post-launch content addition, not a maintenance patch. Looking at the broader timeline, the developer has maintained a strong and consistent update cadence throughout the game's life: major feature updates shipped in October 2025 (weapons system), March 2026 (storage expansions, missions, new mods), May 2026 (1.0 launch with multiplayer), and September 2026 (Riot Mode). This establishes a pattern of significant content additions roughly every four to six months. The developer has not announced that Riot Mode is the final update, nor made any statement indicating the game's content development is complete. Given this active pace of post-launch content delivery and no signal of development winding down, the game remains in a phase of ongoing content updates.

About this game

Gamestonk Simulator is a shop simulator blending management, strategy, and chaos into one pixel-packed package. Each day brings new customers, new challenges, and new opportunities to grow your business. Adapt to the market, keep your customers happy, and build the best game store in town.

Help your customers at the checkout counter, make sure your shop is well stocked, and serve them on time. Keep them waiting too long and they'll lose patience and leave.

Discover and collect a massive library of retro games, each with unique traits, rarities, and collector-grade properties. From humble plastic cartridges to ultra-rare Galactic editions, every retro title you find can add something to your shop. Look out for sealed copies, complete-in-box treasures, signed editions, and imports straight from Japan. Build the ultimate archive and fill your shelves with retros worth showing off.

Get orders from the street, fulfill them to earn money and mystery boxes. You never know what you'll find inside!

As your business grows, so does your store! Expand to fit more shelves, attract more customers, and reorganize your layout to maximize efficiency. Show off your management skills and prove you can run the biggest, best game store in town!

Every morning, The Truck arrives with offers: bonuses for some genres, discounts for others, store rating boosts, and many more. Anticipate your needs wisely and purchase what your store needs.

In Survival Mode, you've just inherited your grandfather's dusty, chaotic video game shop, the last one standing in a world dominated by faceless online megacorps. Can you turn this retro wreck into a thriving business before the digital tide wipes you out?

Additional Game Features:

  • Power ups: Think that the last run was too hard? you're in luck! use the retros you got during survivor mode to permanently power up.

  • Retros are forever: All the retros you have in your collection before losing in survivor mode will carry with you to your next run
