Gaming Cafe Simulator left Early Access on May 28, 2025 with a substantial 1.0 update. At that launch, the developer explicitly stated: "Releasing the game doesn't mean we're done! We will continue adding new features, fixing bugs, and improving your café experience." This was backed up by a strong history of major updates throughout development — Driving Sim and VR rooms in December 2024, PC repair mechanics and an Arcade Room in March 2025 — followed by a stream of feature patches in late May, early June, and mid-June 2025. However, the last recorded developer communication of any kind is the bug fix patch published on August 13, 2025. As of today, September 24, 2026, that is more than 13 months without any public update, patch note, or developer message. The prior cadence — major updates every 2–4 months and feature patches landing roughly monthly after launch — makes this extended silence a notable departure from the developer's established pattern. The developer promised ongoing development, but no content or communication has followed since August 13, 2025, and the window for expected updates has passed by a wide margin. It is unclear whether development is continuing or has quietly wound down.
