Garlic is a solo-developed hardcore platformer that launched on June 15, 2021. In the months following launch, the developer shipped several gameplay improvements and bug fixes, with the most substantial post-launch update arriving on July 24, 2022 — a significant gameplay overhaul that revamped trap/enemy behavior, level design, and the combo dash system. The only DLC ever released is the soundtrack, which came out on November 9, 2021.
There are no announced or unreleased DLC packs, no roadmap, and no developer statements about future content. The most recent developer post, from December 19, 2025, is a Steam Deck compatibility beta branch — a maintenance update rather than new content, suggesting the developer is still occasionally tinkering with the game to keep it functional on new hardware but is not developing new gameplay content.

Wall jump, dash, tons of traps and some enemies too, with lot of moving backgrounds,
one screen stages and large stages, many checkpoints to not get frustrated in a simple n fun mechanics, with possibility of advanced gameplay performing amazing combo dashes (just try it out by spamming the dash button into walls, floors and even ceilings!)
