Genesis Survivors (formerly Eden Survivors) launched into Early Access on December 10, 2024 with one biome, four mechs, and a progression system. The store page notes that the game will receive new content based on community feedback during Early Access.
On March 13, 2025, the developer announced console ports to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, along with a teaser of a new boss, signalling ongoing development work.
On May 7, 2025, the developer posted a significant update announcing the game's rebrand from Eden Survivors to Genesis Survivors, describing "major internal improvements and key development changes." They outlined plans for new biomes, new enemy types, and new bosses, and described 2025 as "just the beginning."
However, since that May 2025 announcement, there has been no further communication specifically about Genesis Survivors' content or development progress. The most recent studio post (June 15, 2026) focuses entirely on Farmageddon, a separate game being co-published by the studio in partnership with another developer. Choose your pilot
Defending the city from outer space horrors requires special battle gear. Players will be able to choose a pilot linked to a specific mech, featuring different combat and passive abilities.
