Ghost in the pool

Ghost in the Pool launched out of Early Access on January 27, 2021 and has received several updates since, including a major free remastered update on May 12, 2025 that significantly expanded the storyline, added new endings, improved character writing, and introduced 19 Steam achievements. Its only DLC — an Art Gallery pack — was released at launch in January 2021. The December 31, 2025 New Year's post previously signaled ongoing expansion of the "Di Yingling High" universe. However, what that expansion refers to is now clear: it was pointing toward Otherealm, the fourth game in CASCHA GAMES' "Parallel" series. On July 16, 2026, the developer announced Otherealm as a new standalone title in the series, and on September 2, 2026, they released a free playable demo for it, with the full game planned for the second half of 2027. Otherealm is a separate game, not additional content for Ghost in the Pool. The developer has made no announcements of further DLC, expansions, or updates specifically for Ghost in the Pool. The 2025 remastered update is the last known content addition to the game. Ghost in the Pool itself appears to be a complete, finished product — the studio has moved on to building the next entry in the series.
