G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout launched on December 14, 2020 as a complete, standalone game with no post-launch content updates or DLC releases. On November 11, 2024, the developer published an official announcement that the game and all related DLC and bundles would be removed from sale on December 31, 2024. The game is no longer purchasable on Steam, consistent with that removal having taken place. The game shipped as a finished product and received no post-launch content, making its launch date the point at which content was complete.
