Gigantic: Rampage Edition launched on April 9, 2024 as a premium re-release of the original Gigantic MOBA hero shooter. In its first few months, the developer (Abstraction Games, published by Arc Games) maintained an active cadence: a hotfix in May 2024, a major patch in June 2024, a Ranked Pre-Season on PC in June 2024, and then Ranked Season One launching across all platforms on July 23, 2024. Season One ran for three months (July 23 – October 22, 2024) and featured weekly cosmetic reward events for players. The final developer communication was on October 18, 2024 — a post announcing the last weekend event of Season One (the Tripp "Thunder's Edge" skins). That post explicitly noted the skins would be available again "when Ranked Season Two begins," directly implying Season Two was planned. However, Season One ended on October 22, 2024, and since then there has been no developer communication of any kind — no Season Two announcement, no new patch notes, no blog posts, no status updates. As of June 22, 2026, the developer has been completely silent for over 20 months. Given that the game was shipping updates roughly every 3–6 weeks during its active period, and that Season Two was explicitly teased, this silence is a significant concern. It is unclear whether Season Two or any further content development is still occurring, has been cancelled, or is simply severely delayed with no public communication.
