Evaluation
Gladiabots launched on May 22, 2019 and received a solid run of post-launch updates through mid-2020. The last substantive game update was patch 1.4.27 on June 30, 2020, which added cosmetic content, fixed bugs, and adjusted campaign balance. Prior to that, the version 1.4 update (April 6, 2020) introduced custom tournaments, a team system, and new skins. All six DLC packs are released, with the five cosmetic/content packs shipping in May 2020. No DLC is listed as unreleased.
Since June 2020, developer GFX47 has not posted any Gladiabots content updates or game development news. The developer's attention has visibly shifted to new projects: "No Plan B" (announced in the 1.4 update, launched April 3, 2024), "Echoes of the Architects" (announced November 2024, launched July 25, 2025), and "Endless Escalation" (announced November 18, 2025, with a demo live as of November 25, 2025). All recent posts on the Gladiabots Steam page are cross-promotions for these new titles.
The developer has made no statement explicitly closing out Gladiabots development, but the pattern is unambiguous: no game updates since June 30, 2020, all DLC shipped, and the solo developer has publicly moved on to multiple successive projects. The game launched as a complete product and received its post-launch content cycle through 2020, after which development concluded in practice.
