Evaluation

Glisynth is a free-to-play rhythm game currently in Steam Early Access, which the developer explicitly uses to signal that the game is not yet in its finished state. Team Charlotte launched the Early Access version on June 26, 2026, delivering a major content drop that included 20 new songs, Story Mode Episodes 2–6, Party Mode, 42 achievements, and leaderboard features. Before that, the developer had maintained a steady rhythm of demo updates from February 2026 through May 2026, adding new tracks roughly every 2–4 weeks. After the Early Access launch, a feature patch on July 5, 2026 brought UI redesigns, accessibility improvements (ASIO support), customization options, and bug fixes. On August 30, 2026, the developer previewed an upcoming update, and that update delivered as promised on September 5, 2026, adding 4 new songs and reworking a Story Mode chart. As of today (September 24, 2026), Team Charlotte's last communication was just 19 days ago, and they have been consistently shipping updates throughout the game's life. The game remains in active development with no indication from the developer that a 1.0 release or content conclusion is imminent.

About this game

When the game starts, notes fall down in sync with the music.

You must press the correct key at the right time, when the note reaches the judgment line, to process it.

There are two types of notes: White notes and yellow notes.

To process a yellow note, you should press a key in the Q row of the keyboard,

And to process a white note, you should press a key in the A row of the keyboard.

The more accurate your timing is when you press the key, the better your judgment will be.

You will gain or lose life depending on this judgment.

If the timing is correct but the keyboard row does not match the note color, an OFF judgment will be given.

You lose less life than a MISS, but be careful as it breaks your combo.

Long notes refer to notes with a tail.

You process them by holding down the key for the entire length of the tail.

If you finish the song with some life remaining, it will count as cleared. Pay attention to your life and try to complete each stage!
