Glonk launched on November 27, 2025 as a short incremental/idle game. Two days after launch, on November 29, 2025, Mistical Studios confirmed they weren't done and were actively working on a first major update. That update — the "Endgame Update" — shipped on January 16, 2026, adding 6–12 hours of new post-credits content including a rebirth mechanic, new skill tree, new events, and more. A hotfix followed on January 19, 2026 to address bugs introduced by that update. On May 28, 2026, Mistical Studios announced that their new game "Hyper Sphere" was releasing the next day, explicitly framing it as the studio moving on to a new title after completing support for Glonk. This is a clear developer statement that Glonk's development is finished. No further content for Glonk has been announced, and the studio's focus has shifted entirely to their new project.
