God of Word

God of Word launched on September 28, 2016 and received a handful of feature patches and balance updates in the weeks following release, culminating in a final patch (v1.0.6) on January 31, 2017. A Halloween-themed content update shipped on October 28, 2016, adding new armor, a weapon, a boss, and a new typing level. After January 2017, no further updates to God of Word were posted. The most recent news from the developer — a post on April 29, 2020 — was simply an announcement that Mega Dwarf had released a new, unrelated game (Shank n' Bake), with God of Word going on sale to celebrate. This confirms the studio is still active but has moved on to other projects. No future content for God of Word has ever been announced, no unreleased DLC exists, and there is no roadmap or outstanding commitment. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received a modest post-launch support period that concluded in early 2017.
