GODBREAKERS launched on October 23, 2025, and the developer (To The Sky) immediately committed to ongoing post-launch support. Just one day after launch, on October 24, 2025, they stated explicitly that "this is only the beginning for Godbreakers" and that content updates were already in progress. True to their word, the team delivered a rapid sequence of updates: a first major free update on October 30, 2025 (new rooms, tangles, cosmetics, and balancing), a second major free update — the Winter Update — on December 11, 2025 (a new archetype, new game mode, server browser, leaderboards, new enemies, and a sweeping expansion of build-crafting systems), and a third smaller but substantive update on January 29, 2026 (a new enemy, new weapon ability, weapon skin, and further balancing). A roadmap post on October 30, 2025 described the team's plans through the end of 2025 in detail, all of which were delivered. All five DLC items in the store are cosmetic supporter packs and a soundtrack, all of which have been released. There are no unshipped DLC entries. However, as of June 20, 2026, the last developer communication of any kind was on January 29, 2026 — nearly five months ago. The team had been communicating very frequently from launch through January 2026, so this extended silence is a notable departure from their established pattern. No announcement has been made about what comes next, and no explanation has been given for the quiet period. Given that the developer had not announced an end to support and the silence is unexpectedly long, it's unclear whether further updates are still in the pipeline.

Evidence

Update 2.1 ships with a new enemy (Ray Fin), new weapon ability (Counter Slash), a new weapon skin, ability reworks, and various bug fixes. This is the last developer communication on record.
