Gold Wiper launched on April 25, 2022 as a complete arcade game with 30 stages and all reward content included. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped several patches addressing difficulty balancing, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. The last of these came in May 2022. On September 23, 2022, the developer posted an announcement promoting a separate new game, Gold Drill — this was not an update to Gold Wiper itself but rather a release announcement for a follow-up title. There have been no developer posts of any kind since September 2022, no announced future content for Gold Wiper, no unreleased DLC listed on the store, and no roadmap or promise of additional updates. The game launched as a self-contained product and all signs indicate it has been complete since the post-launch patch cycle concluded in 2022.
