Golf Party

Golf Party is a multiplayer mini golf game that has been in Early Access since January 29, 2021. Over its first two and a half years, the developer shipped regular updates: new maps, physics improvements, UI overhauls, and eventually a full engine migration to Unreal Engine 5 in May 2023. That UE5 update on May 31, 2023 is the last communication of any kind from VoidFiller Studios. The store description and short description both advertise content that has not yet been delivered. The main store page lists a "Light Ball Game Mode" as currently in development, and the short description explicitly mentions that the team is working toward a Battle Royale mode as a future milestone. These are undelivered commitments made by the developer. Since the May 31, 2023 update, the developer has posted nothing — no patch notes, no status updates, no roadmap revisions. As of June 2026, that represents nearly three years of silence. The game remains in Early Access, meaning the developer has not declared it feature-complete or graduated it to a full release. With promised content undelivered and no developer communication since May 31, 2023, there is genuine uncertainty about whether development is continuing.
