Goliath launched on May 12, 2016, and received active post-launch support through 2016 and into 2017. The developer shipped one free DLC expansion — Summertime Gnarkness — on June 22, 2016, and delivered a series of feature patches and bug fixes in 2016.
In August 2016, the developer mentioned they were "hard at work on the multiplayer addition to the game" and that it was coming "this fall." That multiplayer update was announced in June 2016 as a free, planned feature. However, there is no evidence in the news posts that this multiplayer update was ever shipped, and no further communication about it appears after August 2016. The last developer post was on December 22, 2017, which delivered a "Version 2" update adding Chinese language support, story narration, and performance improvements — with no mention of multiplayer or any further planned content.
Since December 22, 2017, the developer has posted nothing. The December 2017 update appears to be the final release of content for the game. All DLC is released. The store description makes no reference to future updates or live content. With over eight years of silence since the last update, the game can reasonably be considered complete as of December 22, 2017 — the date of the last content update. The earlier multiplayer commitment, made in mid-2016, was never followed through on and was not reaffirmed in the final December 2017 post, which itself reads as a capstone release rather than a stepping stone to further content.

After stumbling through a mysterious rift, you find yourself in a mysterious world consisting of the jumbled fragments of a hundred dead civilizations. Ruined buildings from 1930s America share space with wrecked pirate ships and the overgrown remains of spaceships from a far-flung future. Several powerful factions battle for control of this strange and broken land, but even the strongest among them tremble in fear of the monstrous giants that roam the land. Fortunately, you can build giants of your own! Search the world for the items you need to craft tools and weapons, including giant robotic suits called Goliaths that will help you even the odd against the enormous creatures you confront!
To survive among the giant creatures in this dangerous and mysterious world, you must scavenge for resources and create Goliaths to battle your life. Starting with simple wooden versions, you will learn to create dozens of Goliaths from a variety of materials: wood, stone, metal and other more unique materials found in the world. Your Goliath can be customized and outfitted with weapons to create options that are perfect for every situation and players’ preferences. But robots won’t solve every problem. You’ll also need to craft items and tools, build shelters and fortresses, and choose which factions to side with in the war that’s sweeping across the land.
