Gran Skrea Online is no longer available for purchase on Steam. On March 17, 2022, the developer (Olipa Games) published a farewell post announcing that, due to insufficient resources to sustain the game, they were stopping sales and permanently shutting down the game server effective June 1, 2022. The developer cited chronic technical limitations — including lag, server crashes, and rollbacks — that would have required significant financial investment to fix, investment they were unable to secure. The team acknowledged the game was unlikely to succeed without that backing. The developer has pivoted to a new single-player project, The Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker, and explicitly stated there are no realistic plans to reboot Gran Skrea Online. The game's store page currently has no purchase options available, confirming it has been removed from sale.
