Gravelord entered Early Access on January 22, 2025, shipping one episode with 8 levels. The developer continued to update the game during Early Access with feature patches (gamepad/Steam Deck support in March and April 2025, a level editor in November 2025) before announcing on April 30, 2026 that the full 1.0 release was set for May 21, 2026. On May 21, 2026, the game officially graduated from Early Access to its full 1.0 release, adding two new episodes, 12 new levels, 11 new enemies, 3 new weapons, the integrated level editor, and Steam Workshop support for community maps. The 1.0 launch post from Fatbot Games explicitly states: "Now it is finally complete." A post-launch bug-fix patch followed on June 3, 2026 to address reported issues — standard post-release maintenance. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and the developer's own words confirm the game is complete as shipped. The game launched as a finished product at 1.0 with its full intended content.
