Evaluation
GreedFall launched on September 10, 2019, and received two pieces of DLC: a cosmetic Adventurer's Gear pack at launch (September 9, 2019) and a full narrative expansion, The De Vespe Conspiracy, on June 30, 2021. The De Vespe Conspiracy was bundled into a Gold Edition released on the same date, packaging all content together. Both DLC entries are fully released, and no further DLC or content updates for the original GreedFall have been announced or listed on the store since then.
The developer, Spiders, has moved on to their next project: GreedFall 2: The Dying World, which entered Early Access on September 24, 2024. A September 2024 anniversary post celebrated GreedFall's 5th birthday by pointing players toward the sequel — effectively marking the original game as complete while the studio's energy is focused elsewhere. The original GreedFall's content is finished, with June 30, 2021 (the Gold Edition / final DLC release) marking the point at which all content became available.
