Evaluation

GRIDbeat! launched on March 26, 2026. At launch, the developer stated "This is a milestone, not a finish line. We keep going," indicating intent to continue post-launch development. They followed through with the ZEN PROTOCOL update on June 23, 2026 — a substantial free addition that introduced a new Zen Mode with ten new levels, five new music tracks, new background animations, two new Steam achievements, and a range of quality-of-life improvements. That ZEN PROTOCOL update is the only major content release since launch. No further content has been announced, and there is no unreleased DLC listed on the store. The June 11, 2026 teaser post was referring to ZEN PROTOCOL, which has since shipped in full. The game has now been out for nearly six months since ZEN PROTOCOL landed. Ridiculous Games has shipped one major update post-launch, but a single update does not establish a sustained release pattern, and no roadmap or announcement of further content exists. The developer's last communication of any kind was on June 23, 2026 — the ZEN PROTOCOL launch post — with no posts since. The game is outside the recently-launched window. With no announced future content, no unreleased DLC, no further developer communications since June 23, 2026, and no established update pattern to suggest more is coming, the game is best assessed as complete as of the ZEN PROTOCOL release date.
