Grimshade

Grimshade launched on Steam on March 26, 2019 as a complete, story-driven RPG. Following launch, the developer (Talerock) issued a steady stream of patches and improvements through 2019 — adding new battle scenes, cosmetic items, a redesigned final boss, a healing system overhaul, and a glossary — before going quiet after December 19, 2019. The only post in 2020 was a June 25, 2020 Summer Sale announcement that also noted the game's release on Nintendo Switch. There have been no developer communications since that date (June 25, 2020). The one DLC listed is the Grimshade Soundtrack, released April 16, 2019 — a music pack, not a content expansion. Prior to launch, a February 2019 developer note mentioned that during story development "we managed to come up with some pretty good DLCs (hope we will be able to bring them to life)" — but this was a tentative, hopeful aside made before release, and no DLC content was ever formally announced, listed on the store, or followed up on in any subsequent post. Given that the developer went silent over six years ago with no roadmap, no unreleased DLC, and no further mention of any planned content, this pre-release musing does not constitute an outstanding commitment. The game shipped as a complete narrative experience (the store description emphasizes "more than 20 hours of an exciting journey" with a clear beginning and end), received post-launch polish updates, expanded to Nintendo Switch, and then development activity ceased. All evidence points to Grimshade being a finished product with no further content planned.
