Guidus Zero

Guidus Zero officially launched on March 26, 2025 after a short Early Access period. Following launch, the developer maintained an active update schedule, culminating in the v2.1.0 update on August 14, 2025, which explicitly delivered "the final chapter of Guidus Zero," the final boss Valtharos, and "the full story of Guidus Zero now comes to a close." This language unambiguously marks the completion of the game's narrative content. Prior to this, the developer had committed in a June 26, 2025 Dev Note to delivering the story conclusion as a free update — and v2.1.0 fulfilled that promise. After v2.1.0, all subsequent communications have been maintenance-focused: a bug fix hotfix (v2.1.2) on November 20, 2025 addressing crashes and balance, and a September 25, 2025 Dev Note announcing the game's expansion to Xbox (with a Nintendo Switch release also mentioned as a future goal). Neither of these constitutes new game content — they are platform work and stability improvements. The April 17, 2025 roadmap had promised new playable characters and additional new content beyond the new chapter, but those plans appear to have been consolidated into or superseded by the v2.1.0 "final chapter" release. No subsequent post has referenced those specific items as still outstanding. The last developer communication of any kind was the v2.1.2 bug fix on November 20, 2025. With the story explicitly concluded in v2.1.0, no unreleased DLC on the store, no announced upcoming content, and a silence of approximately ten months since the last post (November 20, 2025 through today, September 17, 2026), the evidence points clearly to a completed game. The Nintendo Switch mention in September 2025 was a brief forward-looking note about a platform port, not a content expansion announcement, and no follow-up has materialized.
