Evaluation

Guts and Glory launched out of Early Access on July 19, 2018, with the v1.0 release delivering a substantial final batch of content including 25 new official tracks, new level editor items, achievements, and more. The developer celebrated this as the full release of the game. The only DLC ever released is the original soundtrack, which shipped on launch day. Since the 1.0 release, there have been no major content updates, no new DLC announcements, and no roadmap for future content. The most recent developer communication of note (February 2021) was an announcement that the developer had moved on to an entirely new project — Pigeon Simulator — in partnership with tinyBuild, signaling a clear shift away from Guts and Glory. There is no announced or unreleased content for this game. Guts and Glory is a complete, self-contained product.
Evidence
Developer HakJak announced they have joined tinyBuild to work on an entirely new game, Pigeon Simulator, and encouraged Guts and Glory fans to follow the new project. This marks a clear transition away from Guts and Glory development.
