Evaluation
hack_me launched out of Early Access on January 5, 2017. The developer's own post on that date mentioned that chapters 4 and 5 were still planned, but that was nearly a decade ago — and no evidence exists that those additional chapters were ever shipped. Since then, the developer has moved on entirely to other projects: hack_me 2, hack_me 3 (announced in 2019 and 2021), Project DeepWeb (released April 2020), Red Rush (released May 2020), Greenhaven Realms (announced July 2024), and Your Personal Chill Apartment (announced March 2025). There have been no news posts, patches, or announcements specifically about new content for hack_me since its 1.0 launch in January 2017. The only DLC is a wallpaper pack that released before the game even launched. The developer's attention has clearly shifted entirely to new titles, and there is no indication that hack_me will receive any further updates.
