Hacktag launched on February 14, 2018 as a complete co-op stealth game. The store description presents a fully defined feature set — 24 levels across 3 corporations, character customization, skill systems, online multiplayer, and leaderboards — with no mention of planned additions or future content phases.
The only DLC ever released is a soundtrack (June 10, 2021), which is purely supplementary and not a content expansion. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store.
The developer's most recent activity consists of maintenance and stability work: a major bug-fix patch (v1.2) on June 27, 2024, followed by several minor bug-fix updates through July 8, 2024, and a server migration announcement on April 15, 2025. Play as the stealth Agent in the field or as the Hacker, virtually infiltrating and cooperating to fulfill industrial espionage missions to take down corporations.
In 2029, in a parallel world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, you are a mercenary who secretly accomplishes missions for corporations struggling for leadership. To succeed you will have to team-up with a partner and infiltrate corporations simultaneously in two ways:
