Hainya World is an Early Access RPG that has been actively developed since its August 31, 2023 launch. The game underwent a major overhaul called EA 2.0, which shipped on May 20, 2025 after roughly a year of intensive development — the developer described it as a near-complete remake, adding a full main story, revamped combat, new maps, and numerous new systems (fishing, farming, pets, vehicles, fashion). Following the EA 2.0 launch, the developer continued shipping feature patches on May 29, July 11, and July 28, 2025, adding new armor sets, NPC behaviors, sprint mechanics, and other improvements. A hotfix followed on October 9, 2025. On September 2, 2025 — the game's second anniversary — the developer posted a roadmap explicitly confirming plans for additional free content: cloud save support, private server hosting, and a brand-new "Undersea Adventure" expansion featuring new equipment, enemies, and maps that continues the game's story. This remains the most recent developer communication on record, and all three roadmap items were announced as upcoming but have not appeared in any subsequent news posts. As of October 1, 2026 — approximately 12 months since the anniversary post — none of the announced content (cloud saves, private servers, Undersea Adventure) has been confirmed as shipped. The developer noted in the same post that "updates have been a little delayed," which is consistent with the slower cadence seen before the EA 2.0 launch.
