Happy Sheepies

Happy Sheepies launched on July 8, 2024 and has received a sustained stream of content updates from Berker Games. The game received a major feature patch in November 2025 (Version 1.0.221), which added new automation systems, items, quests, and language support. On December 16, 2025, the developer posted a community update detailing features actively in development, and on March 31, 2026, they confirmed a large update was coming with more automations, items, structures, and quests. That promised update arrived on September 18, 2026 — today — as Version 1.0.318. This is the biggest update yet, introducing full sheep care automation (Shearing Shed, Medical Tent, Milk Silo, Milk Trough, Seed Silo, and more), over two dozen new items and crafting recipes, new environmental elements, fence customization options, and a large number of quality-of-life improvements. The content teased in the March 2026 post has now been delivered. The game has now shipped two major content updates post-launch (November 2025 and September 2026), establishing a pattern of substantial updates roughly every 6–10 months. The developer has not announced what comes next following today's release, but given the consistent update cadence and the small indie team's track record of ongoing development, the game remains in active development. No statement of completion or end of support has been made.
