Hello From Darkness

Hello From Darkness has been in Early Access since November 30, 2020. During its active period, the small developer team (CaTaTo) shipped a handful of updates, culminating in a major "Beta" update on September 26, 2021 that added three new levels. That appears to be the last official communication from the developer — no posts, patches, or announcements have followed since that date. A development status post from May 27, 2021 revealed a key challenge: most of the small team had found permanent full-time employment, leaving the main 3D modeler unable to complete new locations for months. This was an acknowledged staffing strain even before the final update shipped. The game remains available for purchase on Steam in Early Access, with no stated plan for reaching a 1.0 release and no communication from the developer since September 26, 2021 — nearly five years of silence. Given the openly acknowledged team availability issues and the prolonged absence of any updates, the future development of this game is very uncertain.
