Hidden Cats in Rome

Hidden Cats in Rome launched on November 17, 2023 as a complete, self-contained hidden object game. Its sole DLC — a printable PDF coloring book and poster — was released on the same day as the game itself. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store. The developer, Nukearts Studio, has been actively releasing new entries in the Hidden Cats series as separate standalone games rather than adding content to this title. Posts on the Rome game's Steam page announced Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro (June 2025), Hidden Cats in Istanbul (September 2025), Hidden Cats in Spooky Village (October 2025), and Hidden Cats in Christmas (November 2025) — all of which are distinct games, not updates or expansions to Rome. The developer's communications for this specific title have been limited to a security patch (October 2025) and a bug fix for Mac achievement tracking (June 2024), both of which are maintenance updates rather than new content. Hidden Cats in Rome launched as a finished product with all its content — two gameplay modes, seven bonus levels, and over 970 hidden objects — available from day one. The studio's ongoing creative energy is clearly directed toward new games in the series rather than continued updates to this entry.
