Hide Alone launched on August 12, 2022 as a complete first-person survival horror experience. In the week following launch, the developer shipped four rapid patches (versions 1.0.2 through 1.0.5, between August 15–19, 2022) that added quality-of-life features like checkpoints, difficulty settings, and jump scares, along with bug fixes. After August 19, 2022, developer activity on this game went quiet. The one subsequent news post, from July 9, 2024, was an announcement for the developer's next game, "While Sleeping" — a separate project unrelated to Hide Alone's content. There are no DLC listings, no announced expansions, no roadmaps, and no developer statements indicating future content for Hide Alone. The game appears to have shipped as a self-contained product and received only launch-window polish updates before the developer moved on to a new title.
