There has been only one major news post since launch, and it is not about HipWitch itself — on May 12, 2026, Studio Hip Sword announced the release of their next game, The Siege of Jeomdo, thanking players for their support and noting "as for what's next for Studio Hip Sword… who knows?" This framing, combined with the studio's full attention now being on their new title, makes clear that HipWitch was shipped as a complete, standalone product and that no further content is planned for it. The game launched as a finished experience and has remained exactly that.
