Hitman: Absolution launched on November 19, 2012 as a complete, standalone game. The store description presents it as a fully self-contained story — no DLC, season passes, or post-launch content updates are referenced. There is no DLC listed on the store.
The developer news feed contains three relevant posts. One from October 2016 is actually about the then-new episodic HITMAN (2016) game, not Absolution — it was posted on Io-Interactive's shared news channel and redirects players to a different store page entirely. One from July 2025 announces that a third-party studio (Feral Interactive) is porting Hitman: Absolution to iOS and Android — this is a mobile adaptation, not new content for the PC version. The remaining post from August 2025 is about 007: First Light, a completely separate upcoming Io-Interactive title, and has no bearing on Absolution's content status.
Hitman: Absolution shipped as a finished, self-contained single-player game in 2012 with no post-launch content cycle on PC. It remains available for purchase and is considered complete.
